Summary
Narinder once again finds himself breathing in fresh air beneath a sunny blue sky, but it's hardly in the way he'd expected. The traitorous Lamb has spared him on a whim, and now he can either stay in their cult and play by their rules, or try to find some means of escape. His hatred of them is completely justified, and although he wants nothing more than to take his revenge, he will have to do what he does best and wait.
The Lamb is tired. So, so unbelievably tired. They gave up what they wanted most to protect what they'd come to love, and while they don't let themself regret that choice, they still don't quite understand why they chose to spare their former god after what he did to them. Their hatred of him is completely justified, and although they want nothing more than for this entire incident to be behind them, the fact that their former god seems obstinate about sticking around makes things... complicated.
