Summary
It has been almost a year since the war ended and, despite all they have endured, Lorcan found himself at peace. If someone had told him a year ago that tomorrow he would be marrying the love of his life, and had somehow become happy, he certainly would not have believed them. Yet, here he was, sitting on a sofa with his arm wrapped around Elide, in his home in Perranth. Here he was, surrounded by his court, his family, who had all gathered to celebrate them, talking and drinking and laughing by a roaring hearth in their great room.
