Summary
Kim Gaon grapples with grief and guilt after the presumed death of Kang Yohan and the departure of Kang Elijah. His failed quest to reform the justice system leaves him on the brink of despair, until a timely intervention by Mrs. Ji offers a glimmer of hope. Gaon manages to rebuild his life to some degree but the trauma of his past never leaves.
After Gaon is attacked, his presumed-dead mentor Yohan reappears, hinting at a greater looming danger.
