“You don’t need to suggest a transfer.” Eddie cuts him off. “I’ll apply for one right now.”
Gerrard looks baffled. “You’ll what? Huh?”
“Let me say this clearly.” Eddie says, copying the same slow pace of speech Gerrard adopted when speaking to him. “I’d. Like. To. Transfer. From. The. LAFD.”
“The LAFD? Where are you going to go?”
