“You’re not going to… go feral, are you?”
“Feral?” Taehyung asks.
“Mm, you know, throat so itchy for blood you can’t see straight?”
He isn’t, but the dog doesn’t know that.
Slowly, Taehyung takes a step forward, his eyes locked on the wolf behind the counter. It’s instinctual, how he takes a step backwards as Taehyung advances.
“Well, now that you mention it.”

Bored with immortality, Taehyung agrees to a spell—one to finally put him to sleep for the first time in centuries. When he wakes up 100 years later, he finds himself face-to-face with their enemies—a pack of werewolves who seem to have made their way into his coven and his home while he was asleep. As luck would have it, Jeongguk, the youngest wolf of the pack, is more than happy to take it upon himself to show Taehyung just how much he’s missed over the last century. Together, they are swept up in an unconventional friendship, unable to fight the pull they shouldn’t feel for one another.

this was so much fun!! I love the idea of this story and how it's built. could honestly read double this and be happy. they're so funny!! the whole plot is so funny! it's also very hot and so sweet! soulmates yoonmin, soulmates taemin, soulmates taekook. can a girl even ask for more?

“Dreamt about you.”
Traitorously, he feels his lips curve into a smile.
He hides it in the wolf’s chest.
“Yeah?” Taehyung murmurs into his chest, his lips dragging over his soft skin. “What about?”
Gently, Jengguk’s fingers drag over his naked back. He seems even warmer like this, first thing in the morning with sleep wrapping around his words. It makes him shift closer.
“You made fun of my fur. Said it was fuzzy,” Jeongguk mumbles, and even without looking at him, Taehyung hears the pout in his words. “I’m not happy with you right now.”
Taehyung bursts into laughter, attempting to hide himself in the crook of Jeongguk’s neck when he tightens his arms around him.
“It’s not funny,” he continues.
“Is this the werewolf equivalent of ‘you cheated on me in my dreams’?”
He can practically feel Jeongguk’s eye roll.
“Have you been on TikTok again?”

Jimin’s lips part. “But… he’s my sire, too?”
“And you share part of his soul,” Nora explains. “I was lucky enough to not share that part of him.”
The words are said with love, but Taehyung shares the sentiment. What Nora is to him is inexplicable in its own sense, but they both know they aren’t soulmates. They were never meant to be.
Jimin huffs. “But I thought that… Wait. If he had sired you first, would you have been his soulmate?”
Nora laughs at him.
“No, Jimin-ah. That is the universe’s doing. Your souls were intertwined, meant to be split between the two of you, regardless of when in life you met. Taehyung’s and mine are not.”
“You two are soulmates?!” Hoseok screeches, pointing frantically between Taehyung and Jimin. “Like, actually, honest–to-God soulmates?”
Taehyung’s confusion must show on his face.
“Yes, we are,” Jimin answers. “I didn’t just call him that for the fun of it.”

Somewhere off in the distance, he hears a howl. Jeongguk’s ears perk, as if he’s orienting himself to the sound. Taehyung assumes that the rest of his pack has let themselves out on the other end of the property, ready to join their alpha in an afternoon run.
“Go run with them,” Taehyung whispers. “I’ll be here when you come back, Alpha Jeon.”
This time, Jeongguk puts force into his nudge as he presses his head into Taehyung’s side. He falters just a bit, but it’s enough to please Jeongguk.
“Alright, I’m sorry, baby,” he corrects, pleased when Jeongguk’s next nudge is softer. “Go. I’ll be here.”
