Summary
He’s in Leblanc when he returns to that place with an empty, long forgotten cup in hand. Goro sees red melt down the walls, painting the place in an eerie atmosphere. While the TV at the back plays, Mementos is quiet in his mind. Whispers of the Shadows are far away, calling him into the subway where they reside. He closes his eyes, trying to weed out the fantasy and replace it with this reality. The contents of his stomach are quieter today and, absentmindedly, he thanks Ren for that. The other had always been a comfort, even if he would rather keel over and die than admit that, so it was no surprise that today he felt the phantoms of humanity’s desire leave him far more easily.
