It’s a lot of blood, the cut is deep, and Jan knows the band-aid won’t do it, knows it won’t be enough to stop the bleeding.
At least, that’s what he tells himself before he leans forward and licks over the wound.
Jan has tasted blood from the pavement, has tasted blood from a tissue, but none of it compares to this: Bojan’s blood pulsing through his mouth, fresh and nourishing, and his hesitant lick turns into a fevered sucking motion-
“Janči,” Bojan says, and something cold curls up in Jan’s stomach.
“What are you doing?”
As difficult as it is, Jan pulls back, a last line of spit connecting his mouth and Bojan’s finger, and he stares up at Bojan. His brain slowly starts catching up with him, heat shooting into his face.
“Oh shit. Shit. Sorry. Jesus, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to-“
