Outside the borders of Burbank, California laid a large forest area and within this forest there sat a gigantic log house home of who was regarded as many the loveliest creature in the forest if not the world one Minerva Mink
A attractive anthromorphic mink with a rather curvaceous and gifted figure who possessed white fur with long blonde hair, an enormous soft blonde tail as well as a pretty face, pink nose and sweet big black eyes with blue eye shadow, and she was usually seen with her signature sleeveless red dress
And what was Minerva doing right now you might ask?

Well recently the Mink had been find herself in low spirits

As well as feeling more stressed than usually lately

Which lead to the current situation of Minerva slouching in her couch with a despondent expression frowning heavily with a tub of rocky road ice cream in her lap that she was eating out of with a sigh while clicking through the channels with a sad sigh
"Seen it.." she muttered out before clicking again to the next channel as she groaned, "Urg I thought television and ice cream was supposed to help you forget your problems.."
She grumbled out to herself taking another bite out of the desert and in her opinion she had a lot of problems.
Why? Or even how you might ask? After all how could a girl gifted with her level of beauty have any problems? Well good looks can be a curse...because recently a annoying hunting dog by the name of Newt had become a recurring headache in trying to capture her.
Though it seemed he could never decide if he wanted to capture Minerva for himself or for his master so they could take her pelt. Usually she easily handled him and even had a bit of fun while doing so easily tricking him and twisting him around her finger but it was quickly becoming more and more of a headache and a draining chore to say the least.
Though that was just one part of her recent troubles the other part was well....lets just say her love life was complicated..
And no sooner had that thought hit than the tv landed on a soap opera with a couple currently expressing their love for each other causing Minerva to scowl in annoyance and envy...because the closest thing she had to that was her "boyfriend" Wilford Wolf...though honestly she was becoming less sure that he was worth the title
After all she was only REALLY interested in him one night of a month because Wilford was a werewolf and when he transformed his other was well a adonis in looks to say the least...while his normal self....he was the epitome of geek and he honestly while nice just annoyed Minerva to no end!

RING!
Case in point she thought with a annoyed groan reaching to the phone sitting on the table beside her chair already having a good idea who it was, "Yes...ah...hello Wilford.." Minerva said with a large bored sigh before listening to Wilford, "Uh huh...uh huh...gee Wilford sounds really interesting..."
she stated in the dullest tone possible while rolling her eyes, "But i'm afraid i'm a bit to busy to go to the Galactic Dungeon Quest Convention with you.." she told him lying bluntly while taking another bite out of her ice cream, "i'm going on a trip.."
she added the first thing that came to mind, "Ah..where?" she froze before giving a strained grin, "Oh....just you know...a little trip to relax.." she explained before hurriedly adding, "And ah sorry no you can't come only one ticket and really must get back to packing so bye!" she called out before hurriedly hanging up than giving a groan, "Urg...I wish I was going on a trip...maybe a romantic getaway to not only forget about my problems....but hook up with a boyfriend I can actually enjoy being with for more than one time a month.."
she muttered out with a scowl because honestly as much fun Wilford other form was at first and in more ways than one~ The charm had soon worn off and the part of dealing with Wilford the rest of the days til lthe full moon was just as emotionally draining as dealing with Newt
BOOOM!
Who speaking of judging by that large explosion outside had just set off the trap she had prepared for him which should hopefully keep him out of her fur for a while, "Hehe still a yutz~"
She muttered out with a small smirk of amusement before focusing her attention back toward the tv...still showing the happy couple, "Grr...is there anything on that could actually help me forget about my problems!"
she hollered out throwing the ice cream at the tv and as the cold treat leaked over it it started to spark and smoke with her groaning ,"And now I have to buy a new tv....terrific.."
she muttered out sarcastically before frowning as the channel seemed to change to...a commercial, "Greetings~" Spoke the figure of a red furred cat on the screen who for some reason made Minerva feel unnerve and wary, "Are you stressed, tired, and perhaps in need of revitalizing your romance, or have a desire to find love.."
The cat said with Minerva attention immediately getting caught, "Yes!" She called out quickly zooming over to the screen, "Than you need to book a trip on..."
BZZZ
The screen started to fizzle and static out for a moment
WHAM!
Before Minerva hit it while snapping, "Oh no you aren't leaving a girl hanging like that!" She hollered as the picture returned with the commercial continued, "Katz Cruises..."
The cat said with a slight smirk, "Where you'll find your trouble disappearing as you have the final rest with the love of your life~" He said giving off a slight little chuckle that sent a shiver through Minerva that she ignored, "And for you singles out there not to worry we at Katz Cruises pride ourselves in our match making services in finding the ideal partner you can spend eternity with.."
Katz continued on with Minerva slowly smiling...this...this was it! A way to not only relax for a while and forget her worried but maybe just maybe finally find a boyfriend she could love nevermind stand 24/7!
"So what are you waiting for call now and book your spot on Katz Cruises.." The cat on the screen said staring at the camera and a part that Minerva was ignoring couldn't help but think also staring into her soul more focused on memorizing the number before quickly rushing back to her phone to dial it, "Hello Katz Cruises...I'm Minerva Mink and i'm in desperate need of relaxation and love in my life.."
she spoke out eagerly into the phone unaware that this cruise would not only change her life forever like she hoped, but change the life of another figure watching the same commercial across the country in Nowhere, Kansas

"Oooh doesn't that just sound lovely Eustace~" A elderly woman sitting in a chair with a pink dog in her lap question her husband who was in his rocking chair reading the newspaper, "Sounds like a waste of money to me!"
Her husband griped grumpily
The woman seems to ignore him
"A nice, calm boat vacations it seems like what we need" she said before looking at her lap with a pink dog rested "what you think Courage? want to take a relax trip?"
The dog however was shivering on the womans lap letting out a whine because he of course recognized Katz from previous none to pleasant encounters
First one with Katz running Katz Motel where his family stopped to check in only for it to turn out Katz was feeding guests to his giant pet spiders!
The second one was where Katz was running a spa that was also a trap where he transformed Eustace and Muriel into a wrecking ball and washing machine and had them fight each other in some kinda coliseum for his sick entertainment...if you could call that entertainment. It took Courage turning himself into a helicopter to save his family...and forever to figure out how to change them back....that was perhaps one of the weirder encounters.
Third encounter was when Katz running a candy store was apparently tired of Muriel winning Nowhere Sweet Stuff Contest and tried to steal her secret ingredient to her recipes with him ending up as taffy for it in the process.
Next was Katz was running some kinda submarine vacation scam with a plot to blow it up once they reached the bottom of the sea!
And of course the last time where he teamed up with other enemies he had made and faced off in a BRUTAL game of dodgeball that nearly killed him....so suffice to say...
HE WAS NOT EXCITED FOR THIS TRIP!
"Ah Ah!" the dog shook his head in negation.
"and as special rewards...our next 500 guests will not only have a free all payed experience..but the chance of participate in our special contest for 1M dollars" Katz continued
And with that Courage knew...
"A MILLION DOLLARS!" Eustace call out eagerly jumping out of his seat and grabbing the phone
there was no getting out of this, "Hello Katz Cruises we want that cruise and you better be ready to give me my money!" The old farmer exclaimed out with a cackle while Muriel simply smiled petting Courage, "Oh how wonderful~ This will so much fun and romantic~"
she added with a giggle before smiling faintly down at her shivering dog oooh Courage was already so excited, "maybe you'll meet your own special lady on the cruise Courage~" she said with a encouraging grin
"I dont like where this is going...and you can bet this wont end well" said Courage to the camera
(Time skip)
Next shot was of Eunice and Eustace driving their truck (the back already filled with bags)
Muriel (dressed in vacation clothes) was humming happily as she checked a pamphlet of the cruise
"All you can eat buffet, shuffleboard, complimentary spa, and oooh they even have a dance floor for couples~"
Muriel said with a laugh reading off what the cruise has to offer
"Im going to get rich...im going to get rich..." Eustace didnt seem to listen as he was busy imagining all he will buy with that money
While Courage was shivering between them his imagination going through it's paces imaging what sick twisted scheme Katz was up to this time
"oh my" Muriel gasp called his attention as he looked ahead
A rich looking car was on the side of the road; smoke coming out of it as the owner (not human for the long bushy tail) seems trying to repair it
"It seems someone is in trouble" said the old woman "Eustace..we should stop and see if we can help"
"Bah! Their fault for having a lousy car.." The man retorted back
WHAM!
Only to receive a rolling pin to the head for the comment
"Alright! Alright!!!" the man grunted about lousy cars and useless people that cant fix them as he stopped.
"excuse me!" called Muriel "do you need some help?"
from the under the car emerged Minerva wearing a REALLY short red top and tight blue denim shorts
"oh! hello" she greeted "sorry it seems my car broke down"
"And right as when I was heading to my vacation cruise too.." She added with a grumble standing up....and as soon as Courage laid his eyes on the mink....he felt his eyes go wide and his jaw drop...
Literal his jaw went out and his eyes rolled out his head.
"Oh honey im sorry but actually think we can help" said Muriel "if its Katz cruises you going we are also going that way"
"Oh that would be wonderful!" Minerva gushed sending the elderly woman a thankful smile, "That's exactly where i'm going~" she admitted with a giggle, "i'm hoping to forget my problems and finally find the perfect man~"
"ohh romance...thats amazing" said Muriel with a smile "Courage? why dont you help the lady with her bags?" she called at the dog who finally put his eyes back in place
Courage who had finally managed to find his eyes and put them back in his head gave a blink before stuttering nervous with a gulp as he went to do so with Minerva arching a brow, "Umm quite a cute doggy you have there~" she observed with a soft smirk watching with a amusement as the canine nervously sweated under her gaze
"hehehehe hi..." he greeted nervously.
"he is..his name is Courage" introduced Muriel "oh where are my manners? im Muriel"
Minerva giggled
"Nice to meet you both..im Minerva" she introduced herself with a flash of her eyebrows
with Courage turning red and seeming to steam up as he approached carrying some of Minerva luggage, "And thank you for the help....Courage~" she added leaning down to give his cheek a kiss causing the dog to quite literally melt into a puddle
Muriel saw that and giggled.
"if you finish we have a ship to catch and a million dollars to win!" called Eustace.
"dont be rude Eustace!" scowled Muriel "but he is right..hope on the back dear we will take you"
"Indeed we wouldn't want to miss the boat.." Minerva said with a nod heading to the trucks back with the baggage, "and thank you again." she added sending a small grateful grin to Muriel as she did so while the eldery woman shot Courage a smile, "Courage why don't you go and keep the dear company for the rest of the drive~"
she said giving off a laugh as Courage turned red and nervously stuttered, "Now no need to be shy I think you'll find yourself a friend here~" she added gently pushing Courage forward as he carried Minerva luggage
And maybe a bit more~ Muriel though holding back a wide grin
"ummm aha" he nodded as he moved to the back.
"hurry up we dont have all day!" exclaimed the old man "stupid dog"
The man just annoyed at the hold up because the sooner they got to the stupid boat the sooner he could get his money~ And he was already picturing what it would be like to filthy rich even seeing himself swimming in the loot~
Meanwhile Courage got himself and the luggage onto the trunk which began to drive off and found himself looking across to Minerva Mink giving off a gulp he gave a small nervous wave, "Uh...hello.."
the mink smiled laying on the truck in a sexy manner (one leg extended one arched...on perfil with wind in her hair)
"hello to you again" she said with a smile
Courage despite himself found his tongue literally unrolling out as he stared at the sight of her...he'd ah....he'd never dealt with this kinda situation or....felt like this, "Abba...gabba...you ah...pretty.."
He nervously stuttered out before blushing and giving off a embarrassed groan while Minerva let out a giggle well used to these kinda reactions by now
"hehehe thanks little doggy" she giggle "you arent bad yourself" he was cute she will give him that
Certainly cuter than that annoying hunting dog Newt~ And he seemed nice enough she suppose with Courage nervously gulping at that comment trying to think of what to say before Minerva spoke up, "So.."
she arched a brow looking toward him, "you hoping to find love on this cruise as well?" she asked figuring she might as well break the ice during the drive
"ummm I...maybe?" he asnwered remembering where they going
"oh whast wrong puppy?" asked Minerva
"ummmm!!!" in quick sussesion...
Courage transformed into a more devil-looking katz
Then onto Muriel crying for help
A horrible spider
Katz laughing with an evil scientist look
then an amorphed mass
then Katz but i a more monster form roaring
Then back to normal
With Minerva giving a befuddled blink after he was done before giving off a laugh ,"ooh are we playing charades~ I do love charades~"
Courage sighed.
"sometimes i dont know why i even bother" he said to the audience
Before focusing back on Minerva knowing that he was in for a long trip ahead....and he had to keep not only Muriel safe...but also Minerva safe too.....and oh Eustace too he supposed
