Baratie Tavern is the most popular tavern in Komugi Kingdom. Beside having good food and good rental rooms, it is also home of Sanji, the adopted son of Redleg Zeff, the chef and owner of the tavern, and Zoro; Sanji’s husband.
Recently Sanji gave birth to his first child, which they named Kuina, however the labor was complicated and Sanji almost died. Doctor Trafalgar had ordered Sanji to strictly bed rest until he was allowed to move. In order words, he was unable to nurse his child.
Though they don't have enough to hire someone to help, Luffy, Sanji’s omega friend, has offered himself to be the baby’s wet nurse until Sanji is well enough to nurse him.

“Sanji, I've already fed Kuina and I put her to sleep in the nursery.” Luffy said to Sanji
Luffy was a young male omega. He lived in a small but humble cottage in the Komugi Woods. Luffy was found by Sanji and Zeff on the shores of a river when they were young. He was unconscious and severely wounded when they took him to their caravan and after he woke up, Luffy had no memories of his past. They only knew his name because the omega had a locket with his name written on it. Luffy’s amnesia never really bothered him; his only focus was his present and his future.
“Thank you so much Luffy. I can't thank you enough for doing this.” Sanji said, smiling.
Luffy had a special condition that allowed him to produce milk without being pregnant. Sanji wasn't the first person he had helped; Luffy had also helped Father Kuma to nurse some babies in the orphanage until they were old enough for solid food. The young omega was very loved by the kids of the orphanage.
“We're friends Sanji, just focus on getting better. I know Kuina misses her mama.” Luffy smiles back. “I gotta go now. Tomorrow I'll come back after breakfast. I already gave Zeff some bottles in case Kuina needs them during the night.”
With that Luffy leaves the tavern. It has been almost eight weeks since Luffy had started nursing Kuina. Sanji has been less weak and pale since then. The dark haired omega hoped his best friend would be able to nurse Kuina himself soon.
Luffy noticed there were more knights in Castle Town than usual. He found this very odd. Then, Luffy found on his way Zoro, Sanji’s alpha husband and one of the kingdom's knights.
“Hey Zoro, what's going on?” the omega asked
“Hey Luffy. We're looking for Princess Anana. She 's missing.”
Princess Anana is the youngest princess of the Charlotte family, the royals who rule the kingdom. Zoro asked Luffy if he finds out anything, he should contact him right away. Luffy nodded before parting their own ways.
On the way to his cottage, Luffy felt something was odd in the air. With his instincts up, Luffy went to stealth mode. He could feel a wicked presence in the woods. Against better judgment, Luffy decided to follow this wicked presence. Luffy hid behind the trees when he saw a campfire. In the campfire he saw a group of three men and a small little girl. The little girl was tied and gagged and from her scent, Luffy felt she was terrified.
“Heh, Do you think Dogtooth will meet our demands ?” one of the men asked.
“Hah, he better do it, or else something bad might happen to his baby sister.” The other man smirked, putting the knife to the girl's face.
The girl whimpered in fear.
Luffy gritted his teeth in anger. Then, he felt something with a point touching his back. Luffy saw an man’s face beside him, licking his cheek. From his scent, it was another alpha.
“Don’t move sweetheart, unless you want to stain your pretty body with your own blood.” his breath smells like rotten alcohol.
Luffy can’t help but smirk; he will be stained with blood but it’s not going to be his own. He loves arrogant alphas who underestimate omegas a lot. That’s a flaw all the alphas like that one share.

The group whirled around when they heard a scream. Luffy came out from the trees, holding a dagger in his hand, his clothes and face were stained with blood. He looked at the bandit with a jaded expression in his eyes. The bandits all were pointing their knives at him.
“Who the fuck are you?!”
“This smell, you gotta be joking. An omega?”
“Ah, easy prey then. It's been a while my dick touched an omega skin.”
Luffy ignored their vulgar and sexist comments. He only looked at the tied little girl.
“You’re Anana, aren’t you? Please, close your eyes. I will finish it in a minute.” He said.
Anana did what she was told and closed her eyes. The moment she did. Luffy quickly rushed to one of the bandits and cut his throat.
“You bastard!” one of the bandits screamed behind him,
Luffy dodged the attack and stabbed right where the bandit’s heat hit him as he stole his knife to stab the eye of the other bandit. Luffy groaned in pain as that bandit stabbed a knife into his belly. Luffy removed his knife from the bandit’s eye and stabbed it into his neck, killing the last bandit instantly.
Luffy was panting as he went to the little girl. The girl yelped as she opened her eyes and saw it was the omega. Luffy smiled at her.
“You’re going to be ok. I'm going to take you home.” Luffy tenderly whispered to her while cutting her binds,
The girl cried as she put her arms around his neck. Even with a knife still in his belly, Luffy carried the little girl into his arms. He knew he had to find Zoro to take the little princess back to her family. Luffy was only able to walk thanks to adrenaline. When he reached back to the town, he smiled when he saw Zoro.
“Hey Zoro,” Luffy smiled as he put the princess on the ground. “I found the princes…..”
Luffy fainted from the blood loss, unable to hear Zoro and the princess’s concerned voices before everything went black.

Luffy slowly opens his eyes, his bleary vision makes it hard to make out where he is at. He lets his eyes focus before he tries to move, but his body feels stuck. He looks down to find himself wrapped in a thick blanket, he also notices bandages are warping his torso.
“Where am I?” His voice is hoarse.
“You’re in my hospital.” Luffy turned around and saw Law, the town’s doctor. “You’re lucky that the knife didn’t stab any vital organ or cause more damage when you fainted. Good thing you listened to me when I explained why you should never remove a blade without any medical knowledge or else you wouldn’t be talking right now.”
It may not look like but Luffy can be a good listener when he wants to be. Survival tips are one of them, especially when they come from a doctor.
“And the princess?” Luffy asked.
“She’s fine. A bit frightened but no harm happened to her. And you have a visitor.”
A visitor? Luffy thought it was Zoro or Zeff to visit him since Sanji was still in bed rest. When the door opened, he saw a huge man in royal clothes, wearing a scarf hiding the lower part of his face. That man was Katakuri, the ruler of Komugi Kingdom. Luffy almost gasped with his own saliva when he saw the kingdon’s sovereign.
“I will leave you alone. And your majesty, Luffy is still recovering, don’t push him too much.”
Katakuri nodded before Law leaving the room. The king sat down on a chair beside Luffy's bed. Luffy could feel the king’s scent; it smelled like freshly baked caramel. His presence was omnipresent and at the same time very calm. It was the first time he felt this kind of presence from an alpha, especially a royal one.
“Firstly I want to thank you for rescuing my sister. She was worried about you after you fainted. You were unconscious for almost four days.”
“Four days?!” Luffy exclaimed. Then, he groaned in pain when he felt his wound stinging him. “What about Sanji and Kuina?”
“Don’t worry about them. Sir Zoro told me about their situation and how you were helping them as a wet nurse for their daughter. I hired someone else to help them while you’re recovering. Sanji didn’t want the person I hired since he and Zoro fully trust you with the care of their baby. Doctor Trafalgar had to convince them since Sanji still needs more time to recover before he can start to nurse their daughter.”
Luffy sighs in relief; at least Kuina will not starve while he’s out.
“And Secondly, I want to hire you to be our wet nurse.”
Luffy blinked in confusion; what did he just say? The omega thought he had misheard him. The king started to explain that a couple of days ago his sister, Chiffon, gave birth to her son, Pez. However, something went wrong and his sister ended up dying during childbirth, leaving his baby nephew an orphan. And because of his sister´s passing, the castle's security was a mess and the bandits took the opportunity of the chaos to kidnap Anana and send a ransom demand.
“Even though you are an omega, you defeated four bandits, who were male alphas, with ease. My sister, Anana, never got attached to anyone, not even to the nannies who took care of her since birth. But she got attached to you. The knights had a hard time separating her from you when they took you to the hospital. I need someone trustworthy to take care of my sister and my nephew. And that someone is you.”
Luffy could feel his cheeks blushing; he felt very flattered that the king thought so highly of him. Even with the pain, Luffy rose to a sitting position while looking at the king.
“Your Majesty, I'm really flattered but why me? You have the power and money to hire a professional wet nurse since you did hire one for Sanji and Zoro.”
“Indeed I could have hired someone else, but I want you. I don’t know any omega who could take down four alpha men and still carry a child while having a knife in their belly. I want this strength to protect my sister and nephew.”
Once again he blushed. He never thought of an alpha, a king no less, admiring his strength. Usually a lot of people would frown upon an omega who does not act like a stereotype omega.
Luffy and Sanji are very different omegas, they can kick any alpha asses with their own strength, not expecting anyone to save them, only relying on themselves. They are very thankful for Zeff teaching them how to fight and how to defend themselves since the world is cruel to omegas. They use their second gender as a weapon against alphas, since many of them look down on them.
“Can I think about it?” Luffy asks shyly
Katakuri nodded. He helped Luffy lay back down on the bed before leaving the room. Luffy sighed; what he could do in this situation?

A few days later, Luffy was finally able to be discharged from the hospital, but Law urged him to take it easy for a few more days. Luffy took advantage of these days off to talk to Zoro, Sanji and Zeff about his situation. He was able to meet the wetnurse that King Katakuri hired for Sanji and Zoro, it was a girl named Kaya. Luffy always had a good sixth sense and he could sense Kuina was in good hands. It was enough for Sanji to trust Kaya with his baby. After talking about his situation, Sanji encourages him to accept King Katakuri's offer.
“Are you sure?” Luffy asks,
“Yes, I’m sure. Since you sensed Kuina is in good hands with Kaya, I’m ok for you to go. I’ve always felt bad for using you all time and not paying anything, Luffy.” The omega blond said. “And Doctor Trafalgar told me that I will be able to nurse Kuina myself in a couple of weeks.”
Zoro agrees with his husband. He also adds being a worker for the royal family has a lot of advantages. One of them being able to live in the castle, free food and a lot of security. Zoro also adds that the Charlotte Family treats their employees well, respecting them regardless of their class or gender. Zoro admits he doesn’t feel good knowing Luffy lives in the woods by himself. He almost died after being stabbed by one of those bandits after saving Princess Anana from the bandits.
Luffy hates to admit it but Zoro is right; the woods are not safe anymore. And after hearing good things about the royal family, Luffy decides to work for them. At least for now.
After being fully recovered, Luffy walked towards Komugi Castle, towards the next page of his life.
