Izuku was tired
After his encounter with All Might, his idol,the symbol of peace, the Number 1 Hero, he just felt..he didnt know what he felt,anger? hurt? sadness? He didn't know
Disappointment? Yeah that sounded right and fit him, he was a disappointment.
He was walking down the street on his way home,stuck in his own head. Does he even wanna go home? He couldn't bare seeing his mother's pitiful gaze on him,it broke him everytime she looked at him with that gaze.
Ever since he was diagnosed quirkless at the ripe age of 4 his life had always been filled with pain, pity, hate and disappointment.
In this society Quirks are everything. You can control water- be a firefighter! You can talk to animals?- Work at a zoo!
The stronger the quirk the more you are worth and the more you get away with, but me? I don't have one. I'm the mere 20% without one.
Now you may think 'Oh 20%? That's almost 4 Billion people, but most of them are really old and quirkless kids my age are very rare to find.
Now what's your Job as as quirkless you may ask?
Die. It doesn't matter how, just get outta way and everything is fine. Or get used as a punching bag for kids with powerful Quirks.
But you get used to it, as the saying goes "not all Men are created equal"
That's when he suddenly heard a loud BOOM!
He jumped and looked up, his gaze locking on a crowd gathered near an alley, smoke billowing from the top and explosions coming from within.
Is the Villain Attack still going on? Shouldn't heroes be there already and have taken care of it?
He should just ignore it, what is he going to do?
He's quirkless, useless, weak, a Deku.
,,Why aren't the heroes doing anything?!"
,,That Sludge Villain has a kid!"
The Sludge Villain? Didn't All Might catch him?
Thats when izuku came to a realization, It's my fault he's free, All Might probably lost him when I grabbed onto his leg
That Poor kid, he's not going to be able to hold on much longer
The heroes have to do something! Anything!
As Izuku was thinking this he pushed through the crowd to the front.
Green eyes met flaming red
He knows those eyes...Those are Kacchans
no no no no no
This is all his fault, he shouldn't have asked that stupid question, he shouldn't have grabbed All Mights leg
Now Kacchan is slowly dying because of him.
Izuku isn't sure when exactly his feet started moving on their own.
Why am I running?
,,KACCHAN!"
,,Hey! Wait Kid!" He heard the heroes behind him scream but he ignored them, he had to get to Kacchan
When did i start running?
He started clawing at the sludge, desperately trying to do anything, anything to free Kacchan, to get the sludge out of his lungs.
But it was in wain, it wouldn't go away, it would just come back.
That's when he saw a brick lying near the sludge,it looked sharp, sharp enough to pierce an eye with.
Wait
The Eyes!
That's his weak spot! The only solid thing on his Body are his eyes,I have to aim there!
He quickly jumped towards the brick and grabbed it, just in time to dodge out of the way of a swinging tentacle coming his way
He grabbed the brick, sharp side pointed outwards and charged toward the villain, stabbing him right in the eye, blinding the Villain for only a moment, but that moment was enough for izuku, he lunged forward and grabbed kacchan by his Collar, pulling him out of the sludge and making him catch air again.
Both of the boys fell to the ground, one still trying to get its barrings back and the other looking up at the sludge pulling back to punch the kids after having its attention return bak on them.
In that moment a booming voice was heard that brought everyone on the scene joy and relive,distracting the villain at the right moment from attacking the kids.
,,I AM HERE!" A large figure smashed into the villain, making him splatter all over the ground and walls.
It was silent, everybody was either too shocked or in aw when one of the civilians felt something wet drip on them,they looked up to see rain clouds above them.
,,With just one Attack he changed the Weather" Said one civilian in aw
Izuku sat there, In aw of the display of strengh smiling to himself
The Paramedics and police quickly grabbed the two boys and the pieces of the sludge villain up.
As the boys were getting treated many heroes flanged to the victim of the attack and startet praising him for his awsome quirk.
Kacchans Quirk was really awesome, he can create explosions from his palm with the nitroglycerin he sweats
While the rest went to Izuku and scolded him, telling him he shouldn't have had to do this since the heroes had it all handled.
But they didn't
Izuku knew that but had to rage quietly to himself, knowing yelling at those heroes was a bad idea.
After he was treated he quickly fled the scene, he wanted to apologize to All Might but he was surrounded by Reportes and izuku didn't want to disrupt them, mabey he could write an apology on his official Website later?
He suddenly heard footsteps behind him and froze, he knew those, he had to, if he didn't he would probably be dead by now, not that anyone would care.
,,DEKU!"
They got faster, Kacchan sounded angry, really angry, he should run.
But before he could do so he was punched In the back of his head and punches, kicks and explosions started raining down on him
,,HOW DARE YOU THINK YOURE BETTER THAN ME?! YOU USELESS DEKU!"
He wouldn't have been able to catch the words said if he wasn't used to the beatings, but this one hurt the most, he wasn't even able to scream. He knew no one would come to his rescue, when people came they would only join in or film the 'show'.

,,YOU NEVER HELPED ME, GOT IT!?"
,,NO ONE NEEDS OR WANTS YOU! YOUR USELESS, WORTHLESS! JUST GO AND DIE ALREADY OR ARE YOU SO USELESS YOU CANT EVEN DO THAT?!"
That hurt.
His heart slowly began chipping on the edges
BOOM
Crack
SMACK
Crack
KICK
Crack
His carefully together crafted heart of past memories slowly stared cracking, all the lies he told himself he used to hold up that last hope, shattered and with those his heart.
Everything layd Shattered in the darkness, hollow space that was once his Hope for hero society, his Hope, his wish for change, it all shattered leaving nothing but broken pieces behind.
Everything is red, why is it red?
Oh. It's his blood, he was bleeding, badly so, mabey he lost his consciousness, he probably had a concussion, thinking hurt, breathing hurt, breathing isn't supposed to hurt? Since when did breathing hurt?
He wants to sleep, close his eyes, let all the pain and suffering end
He saw Black spots dancing around in his vision, but he had to stay conscious, he had to get home,clean up his wounds and tell his mother he's fine.
,,tch, useless"
The blond, propebly bored, decides he doesn't want to keep spending his time on the useless deku and turns to leave.
He rounds the corner izuku presumes from the fading footsteps and the corner that he saw before when he hears a ,,I AM HERE" coming from the corner kacchan dissappeard to
,,THERE YOU ARE YOUNG MAN! I WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!"
Izuku doesn't remember much that was said by All Might, only a few bits
As far as he could gather All Might thinks that Kacchan was really strong there and that he would be a perfekt hero
If only All Might knew that the middle schooler whos dream he had brocken not even an hour ago was lying not even 10 feet or so away from him, slowly bleeding out.
,,I THINK YOU'RE WORTHY TO INHERIT MY QUIRK!"
What?
,,What?" He heard Kacchans voice repeating his exact thoughts
,,HA HA HA! OF COUSE! MY QUIRK IS ABLE TO BE PASSED ALONG AND I WANT YOU TO BECOME MY SUCCESSER!"
He heard Kacchans faint voice ringing trough his head, it sounded excited, but before he could try and make out the words everything went black.
Silence
