"You know NOTHING! You are NOTHING!"
The blue jester yelled out while desperately clutching at his chest, his voice cracking when his breath got lost along the way.
"I HATE YOU! You and your stupid SOUL JAM!"
His body weak, chest rising and falling uncontrollably fast, but his legs rushed at the lighter cookie, initiating combat. He was in no-shape for battle, but his overwhelming anger and pent up loathing got the better if him.
"Shadow Milk Cookie, this doesn't have to go like this!"
The healer finally responded, his face welcoming a warm smile so usual get so unexpected at a time like this.
"SHUT YOUR PESKY MOUTH!"
He continued, shooting more and more puppets and monsters Pure Vanilla's way, yet he soon was met with the overshadowing wave of the compassionate cookie's power, that swiped him off his feet.
"Shadow Milk Cookie...Please."
He almost begged, reaching out his arms to the jester now holding himself on the ground. The other was frightened, expecting a punch or kick to come his way, but he was greeted with Pure Vanilla Cookie's gentle smile, and his hand, waiting for him to take it. Pfft! He wasn't so stupid! Of course he wasn't going to take his hand! Pure Vanilla is just waiting for a proper moment to strike once and for all!
Shadow Milk Cookie franticly pushed away the hand waiting to help him, and instead got up himself, almost stammering back down.
"I will NOT fall for your tricks! Get away from me!"
Our favorite trickster yelled out again, as he took a step back, then another, until he was fully running away into a soon-created-portal by him. His two sidekicks, at the side, watching thier master immediately jump into a portal, and they followed. Candy Apple Cookie turned around briefly, and tucked her tongue out at the four cookies, before disappearing with the portal.
The whole place suddenly quieted, Pure Vanilla was finally able to hear his own thoughts. He turned to the smaller cookies patiently waiting behind him, kneeling down to their level.
"Thank you, friends. I don't know what I would have done without your aid."
Pure Vanilla Cookie said while ruffling the heads of the three cookies.
"I must apologize, though. I must have made you all worried about becoming a deceit cookie. I didn't let go of truth yet, don't you worry."
He said with a soft giggle. Gingerbrave's face lit up in a amused expression, Strawberry Cookie looked down, and Wizard Cookie looked eager.
"That was an act?! Woah! Pure Vanilla Cookie, you're amazing!"
The bravest cookie of all spoke
"I was..Really worried we'd..Lose you.."
Strawberry Cookie's faint voice echoed out
"How did it feel like seeing through Shadow Milk Cookie's soul?! Did you see why was he corrupted?!"
The wizard, almost shivering from excitement, said.
"Oh, haha! Thank your kind words, cookies. I saw through Shadow Milk Cookie, but.."
Pure Vanilla Cookie stopped. He had to think about everything first. He was tired, and haven't eaten in days.
"I didn't see anything that would resemble a clear reason. But I have not given up yet. Yet I think that now, we should head back to Crispia."
The cookies all lightened up at the mention of thier homeland, each every of them were just waiting to leave this lands.

And so, after coming back to their lovely homelands, everything seemed to calm down, nothing bad was happening, cookies all over Earthbread were happy, and even Pure Vanilla Cookie felt like he could finally afford to rest at least for a while. Of course only after meeting with his friends, and all of them sharing their experiences from thier own journeys. He was so happy to finally he back with his friends, he even let himself drink a cup of berry juice for Hollyberry Cookie's sake.
Those few days back went just like Pure Vanilla Cookie hoped they would, each day carried a new small story, new jokes, and new experiences. It was first time he actually let himself have genuine fun since witches know how long... And he was even able to rest at night! The awful nightmares were no more, and the weird feeling of constantly being observed disappeared as well...
He stopped thinking about the events of the Beast Yeast for now, he had no interest in clouding his mind, even if he wanted to, he knew Shadow Milk Cookie was harmless now. Seeing through his soul, feeling his dough as if it was his own made him realize something; Shadow Milk Cookie was definitely a fantastic liar, he was lonely, and Pure Vanilla knew that, but it seemed like the jester needed more time to get himself together. Just like he said, he should just wait with it until the next time they meet.
