He would stick around long enough for Eddie to arrive, so that Evan wasn’t alone and so that once he left they could all mourn without him in the way. As much as he admired and held Bobby in esteem, it wasn’t the same for him as it was for the rest of them. They had lost a family member, a mentor, a father, a friend, and a husband.
