Chapter Text
Howdy again! It’s me, YellowSaga, sorry for the long wait, writing that chapter took longer than expected but I did meet the weekly requirement, so everything is fine.
As compensation, here’s a second notes chapter, with some ideas for upcoming characters for Class 1 – C, again this contains SPOILERS so you can skip or ignore this chapter if you want a more organic read of the fic.
Because I was both bored and due to the fact Class 1 – C is non-existent other than Shinso and Boyfriend the latter that I had to add, here are a bunch more characters, following the indie trend, I think all of these characters are from indie games or games that were indie games at one point, correct me if I’m wrong.
- Buddy from LISA THE PAINFUL
Lore: Similar to the lore of the original game, however, Brad instead of fighting against the gang, he is against the Yakuza, he is also dead, she is under the custody of U.A. when Nezu was searching for potential students off the grid.
She has to take mood suppressants to ensure her quirk doesn’t get out of hand.
Quirk: Joy: Whenever she feels emotions, she becomes stronger, the more intense the emotions the stronger she is but over time said emotions become addictive.
Type: Emitter.
Drawback: Self-Explanatory.
- Spooky from Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion.
Lore: She first discovered her quirk when she was trick or treating at the age of 4, On one Halloween night, when she tried to scare someone with her Red Death costume from the tale The Masque of the Red Death from Edgar Allan Poe and some fireworks, this scared him as a PTSD victim of shell shock due to being an army veteran which caused him to shoot her, this gave her a fundamental fear of death which caused her to manifest herself as a ghost and barely survive the ordeal.
As such she’s trying to become a hero despite a fear of death.
Quirk: Fear Manifestation: she can target one person within sight and create illusions based on their fears, she gains an innate understanding of their fears once she uses this quirk, she can either make numerous intangible illusions or small amounts of solid construct illusions she can control, but she cannot control what the manifestations are (e.g. someone has a fear of spiders, she summons a bunch of small spiders, useless in combat.)
She also looks like a ghost as the quirk makes her what she fears most, which is a ghost, this gives her conscious intangibility and flight.
Type: Emitter + Mutation.
Drawback: Lack of control due to unpredictable constructs as well as a lack of physical damage.
- Henry Stickmin from The Henry Stickmin Collection.
Lore: He was originally going to turn to a life of crime, due to his seemingly RNG based abilities, about to rob a bank until he was stopped by a passing Almight, a reverse Deku situation.
As such, he is somewhat scared of him.
He’s also friends with a younger version of Charles and Elle.
Quirk: In the Bag: if he has a closed space such as a pocket or hole nearby, he can reach his hand through it and it has a choice between two to eight random objects or actions that will be able to get him out of any situation to varying degrees of success, one is always the best answer and the other is always the worse answer, the others lead to branching issues.
Type: Emitter
Drawbacks: Completely RNG Based.
- Lonely Girl from Escaped Chasm
Lore: An average person who forces themselves to be extroverted and optimistic to try and reduce her anxiety, it does not work.
Quirk: Escapist: It is always active and forces a situation which allows her escape any given moment, the amount of time before this activates is based on her anxiety.
Type: Emitter.
Drawback: Unpredictable Application.
- Skul from Skul: The Hero Slayer
Lore: Agreed with Stain for about 5 seconds until he realised how stupid he was going about it, he has a much more pessimistic view on society, and hates the concept of the general studies class as it is essentially a backup class for more students in his mind.
His great grandfather was a first-generation hero that was constantly criticised and still is to this day, which is a sore spot for him, due his mysterious disappearance.
Quirk: Dullahan: His body is mutated to look like that of an animated skeleton, as such he does not need to eat, drink or breathe but the former two are good for mental health. The quirk’s active effect is when the user’s skull would be destroyed, it will be reconstructed using the nearest materials around the body, whatever the head is made of will give his body corresponding qualities.
Type: Emitter + Mutation
Drawbacks: He needs good material around him to gain a better constitution, it also takes time for him to reconstruct.
- Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez from Little Misfortune.
Lore: Unknowingly ‘fixed’ her parents and their relationship by using her quirk on them, quickly caught the attention of the authorities and now is in General Studies and under U.A. custody until her parents are back to normal, it helps with U.A. budget at this point.
Quirk: Glitter: When she sprinkles glitter on objects emitted from her hands, it turns them temporarily into a childlike innocent version of itself based on the user’s imagination.
Type: Emitter
Drawback: Limited Range & Unpredictable Effect on those effected.
- Nima & Parasite from Am I Nima?
Lore: This initially caused her to have an identity crisis, as she was wondering if she had any will or if the parasite had her life instead of her, ended with ongoing extensive therapy and a symbiotic relationship
Quirk: Who Am I?: The parasite can enter your body and scramble the target’s memories turning them into an amnesiac temporarily, if the target is conscious before being affected, it generally lasts up to five minutes if successful but if the target suffers head trauma or is unconscious it can last up to 30mins.
Type: Mutation (Parasite is a part of her and can exit her body.)
Drawback: Both the Parasite and Nima are vulnerable on their own.
- Cassidy from FNAF
Lore: She was brutally murdered by a serial killer before her quirk activated and sent them into a vegetative coma, as such she came to the hero school with a prejudiced hatred for villains, which overcomes her fear of death.
The concept of pain managed to malfunction the robots, she also got an immediate pass (no marks, the bare minimum to enter a class was given) as to not traumatise others with her quirk, despite the borderline obsession with villains, she has enough morality to not rely on it in class to not traumatise other people.
Quirk: Remnant: Whenever she dies of unnatural causes, she comes back within a few minutes in the exact same state and position as she was before her death (e.g. she dies of a stab wound and is heavily bruised, she comes back, no stab wound but is still bruised), however the person who killed her feels a fraction of the pain, the action that caused the pain does not fall upon them.
It also increases the sensation of death for the user, makes it more vivid.
Type: Emitter
Drawback: She would still be traumatised from each death.
Also quick update, when writing some of the later chapters, I realised there would be an odd number of students, so I’m adding another student to Class 1 - A, have fun guessing who, as it’ll be from a new series recently added on tags.
