Summary
Thousands of years ago when the Faerie Court came to fruition, the decision to make four separate Courts, each based on the seasons, was put into motion. Through powerful magic from the Faerie Queen, it was made so each Court would have one season with each working together in harmony to blossom the Faerie Court and celebrate the yearly Spiritbloom Festival as a nation. However, due to unknown reasons, the Winter Court slowly became isolated from the rest of the Courts and were forced to fend for themselves with no assistance from the remaining three. This led to resentment between the Winter Court and the Faerie Court, relying on only themselves to survive the onslaught of winter.
The General of the Winter Court resents the rest of the Faerie Court; Spring, Autumn, Summer.
They're all cowards that hide in the safety of their Courts.
Kayn is hardly pleased when he learns that he will be marrying the Lord of Summer Court.
