“This is Rumi. She’s part of our team.” Mira smirks as she nudges her elbow into Rumi’s side. “Have lunch with us, you workaholic.”
“Ow—keep your pointy elbows to yourself!” She hisses under her breath as she gives Mira another slap. To which Mira only chuckles at. “Hi, it’s nice to meet you.” Rumi offers a half bow to Zoey, the corner of her lips tugging up in a friendly smile.
An excited wave comes from Zoey, giggling at their banter. “Hi! Nice to meet you, Rumi. I’m Zoey.”
There’s a moment where they’re all looking at each other, and it’s not uncomfortable in the slightest, but her cheeks are growing warm the longer they both stare at her. Like she’s something fascinating. There is something magnetic in the air, humming in the space between the three of them, but she can’t place it just yet. So she chuckles and wrings her hands together, “So… where’s this kimbap place you mentioned?”
“Right! We should go before the lunch rush hits.”
