Summary
By the time she turned thirty-three, Raiden Ei was already sick of the lectures. Every chance her twin sister Makoto got, she reminded her that being single was unacceptable.
“You’ll die alone in the middle of nowhere,” Makoto warned.
Frustrated and weary of the endless lectures, Ei finally gave in. At Saiguu’s urging, Makoto’s wife, she allowed herself to cross paths with Yae Miko, Saiguu’s mischievous niece.
Neither Ei nor Miko believed in romance. Marriage, to them, was a strategy, a way to reach their own personal goals. And so they struck a deal.
But life has a way of complicating things. As time passed, their carefully built walls began to crack. What happens when two people who swore they’d never fall in love start realizing… maybe they already have?
