Summary
It had been Vegas's ill-conceived idea, and Kinn readily tells his father as much from his hospital bed, tells him that it wasn't his fault, that Vegas had goaded him into a puerile race; enhanced superbikes on tarmac, the unforgiving sun at their backs, until it was in Kinn's eyes instead, sending him off kilter and suddenly slamming into the vicious terrain.
