Summary
Twenty-year-old Amelia Smith is heavily pregnant when the dead start walking. Torn between attempting to travel up to her beloved aunt and uncle’s home in Virginia or riding things out in Georgia alone, she eventually chooses Virginia.
She’s all set to head up to her Uncle Negan and Aunt Lucille’s house, when something in her gut tells her that trying to make it to Virginia will lead to her and her baby’s death.
So she lets her neighbor Glenn jump into her car and take her to a quarry outside of Atlanta he thinks might be safe.
