Honami had never been a big fan of the dark. It’s a childish discomfort, she knows that.
In the dark, there’s nothing that can be seen. No way to tell where anybody was or what was happening around you. You could be all alone, and nobody would ever know what happened to you or where you were.

Honami was always a kind person. If you needed something from her, she would be there to listen and help out. That kindness was offered so that she could be safe.
Kindness doesn't guarantee safety, though. Not in a place where it feels like everybody is out to get you. -
