It was also known you didn’t mess with one because the other would bring hell down upon you. Alastor used his wit, and sharp words to tear people down, whereas Gwen got more physical with them. She had been sent to the principal's office numerous times for getting into fist fights with the tougher boys for trying to go after Alastor. As they continued to get older.... the hell they brought on those who wronged them got a little more... severe. They were an odd pair, but their friendship was filled with no judgment, pride, and their own personal darkness.

This is the story of how Gwendolyn and Alastor navigated the strange shape their adult lives were taking; secret deals made in the night, their deaths, the ruling from fate that sentenced them to hell, and the problems that came with the lives they make for themselves there.

(Once this work reaches the present day [where the show begins] it will follow the important plot points/events taking place. There will be some adjustments to incorporate my OC, but other than that I will not be changing any of the lore.)

Chapter 1: Author's Note!

Just a quick little author's note before you get into the story. This is my first ever published fanfiction. I honestly have been wanting to work on my writing skills and usually think of so many character ideas for the shows I watch that I wanted to give it a try! Plus, I'm a sucker for a good fan fiction! Now onto other things. Hazbin Hotel is rated for mature audiences so 18+ that means this story will also be suggested for readers 18+. There will be strong language, mentions of gore, sexual comments/content, and more. Please read responsibly and if you don't fall under the age range please do not read.

This work is only posted on this platform, if you see it somewhere else it is done so without my permission and is in fact plagiarizing my work. If you see this happening, please let me know. I own my OC and all other characters that are not in the main show/fandom.

Also, I know that Alastor being asexual is cannon. I am not in any way trying to make some statement that he shouldn't be or anything like that. I am doing what many others have and will be making sure to be respectful and mindful of this throughout the story. I have seen stories like this done in many ways, mine will be through him not understanding really anything about romance and the emotions/physicality of it all. Asexual individuals can still have relationships and strong connections to people. They can also choose to be physical about it even if they do not often have a strong desire for it, doesn't mean they are revolted by the fact in all cases. I think some people forget that, and I made sure to talk to multiple friends, sources, and etc. to make sure I do not have the wrong idea of what it is, as a straight individual myself.

I do not own any of the characters except my OC, and the other extras in the story that I created for more depth and plot points of my own creation. I will do my best to stay true to the plot points and direction of the show. Obviously there will be slight changes to integrate my character into said story, other than that it will have the same important events and details. No, it will not be an exact replica of the show with me writing every conversation and scene word for word. Issues faced in the show will also not become magically easier to solve or just go away. I often see people just magically end all the deals made between characters and overlords, take down the Vees in the first few chapters etc. I am not hating on those works; I read them myself, that just isn't' my style

I am eventually going to set up a separate social media account for just my stories and those who might have created art for them, which I would definitely love to see if anyone does! I do have some images I made using picrew of what Gwendolyn looks like in both her forms (I suck at drawing) and would love to see your versions too! (The names of the picrew creators will be included once I am able to get a social media account running, that is if this does well...)
