The Second District ate that suspense right up. It was the most delicious of news for them; something intense, something dramatic, something real, but still away. Something they didn't need to worry about once they got bored of thinking about it and went back to their lives. The Dragon was but a distant, harmless myth.
Fifteen didn't find it in him to be amused when he walked the streets among them.
