Summary
16-year-old Emersyn Turner lives a fairly normal life ... for the daughter of two billionaires. Which really means she doesn't live a normal life at all. Publicly facing, her name and face are known by almost an eighth of the country. Privately, though? Her life is a mess - one that thoroughly blows up in her face when her parents are suddenly arrested on charges Emersyn could've told the world about years ago.
Now with the life she knew - secluded and trying to avoid pretending everything was fine in the public spotlight - in tatters, she's on her way to D.C., and to the friend and close connection of her parents, William Keyes, who's been named her new guardian. Except she never even gets off the plane with him, because waiting for her at the airport is Ivy Kendrick instead.
Since the books lead to a cliffhanger ending, this series is both my personal resolution of that and something new, both in the characters I introduce and my own twists and turns I have planned for it!
