Everyone is talking about the upcoming Steel Ball Run, the first trans-American horse race. Y/N L/N aka Calamity Y/N is a talented gunslinger working as a sideshow in the Orchid Mills Travelling Circus. With her exceptional rifle and horse riding skills, Calamity Y/N has made a name for herself and has become a highly respected woman. When the other circus performers persuade her to join the Steel Ball Run, the markswoman signs up for the adventure of a lifetime.

(This a Wild West-Real Life au, stands or the spin technique do not exist! The plot is not canon compliant but I have kept the main storylines. I wanted the fic to be as realistic as possible so many parts of the story as well as some character backstories have been altered.)
