Summary
A distant dragon’s roar interrupted the knight, and then there was a flash of white light, leaving them all blinded for a few seconds. When the ground stopped shaking, the ravens flew screeching from the weirwood tree and the light faded, leaving two people crouched underneath the tree.
Ser Harrold unsheathed his steel. “State your name and purpose.”
Instead of answering, one of the strangers took a small step forward, bringing her no more than a couple of inches from the point of Ser Harrold’s sword. She moved her hand to the steel and redirected the point away from her face. “We come in peace."
All Daisy wanted was to have a few drinks with some old friends. Instead, she ends up in a place that's further from home than she's ever been before. Thank god Bobbi is with her, so they can figure out a way to get home together. Except, getting home is not that easy, and what if they were brought here by someone, for a good reason?
