   Summary

   Mo Xuanyu was ready to die. Relieved, even to have a clear path out of the constant torture of living. After his mother's suicide, he has nothing left to stick around for. No friends, no loved ones. He has one ally who sees Jin Guangyao for who he is, but even he doesn't have the power to fix this tangled mess of hurt and betrayal. All he could offer was a way out. One that Mo Xuanyu was happy to take.

   He was ready to let go, to let someone stronger and smarter take over when he ceased to exist.

   Why, then, was he still here, trapped in a body that should belong solely to the Yiling-Laozu?

   Or: What if Wei Wuxian woke up to a new body AND a traumatized, suicidal co-captain?
