Summary
Carlos gritted his teeth as Cecil and Earl laughed together. Earl’s feelings were obvious, but it wasn’t like Cecil was responding to them in any way, so Carlos had no right to be so bothered. Cecil was treating Earl like a good friend, and he should be happy that Cecil was promoting science on his show again, but…
“Ohhhhh,” Cecil dragged the word out. “Like with eggs, right? You add energy in the form of heat and the internal structure changes!”
Something snapped. Carlos looked down and realized it was the pen he had been using to write with. The corner to his left began to shake, as if someone was desperately trying to hold back laughter. He stared at the ink slowly bleeding across his palm as he continued to listen to Cecil’s and Earl’s back and forth.
He had been fine with Earl’s little crush, and he had been fine with Earl getting some type of enjoyment out of watching Cecil eat what he had cooked, but this? This was too far. How dare he? He was teaching Cecil science! Only Carlos got to do that.

Or: Carlos overhears a Cooking With Earl segment and gets jealous. He goes to the station and fucks Cecil on his desk over it. -
