    This story takes place on the day after the events of episodes 7x20-21 (A Midwinter Night's Dream), with the difference that Rose and Miles broke up.

     

    Rose is talking non-stop in the morning, and she's driving Dorothy crazy. Dorothy can't help but remember what she told Miles about Rose (in the lanai scene in 7x20):

    “She’s maddening! St. Olaf stories, sock puppets, and she's so cheerful in the morning, that you just wanna take your grapefruit and shove it in her face. Hard. As hard as she can stand it.”
