   Summary

   Desperate doctoral student Rodney acted as a surrogate for the very wealthy John and Nancy Sheppard, expecting to never see them again after fulfilling his end of the contract. John has other ideas though and tracks Rodney down only to get himself and their now five-year-old daughter caught up in the Atlantis expedition. Can they work together to keep her safe in this hostile galaxy, and perhaps rekindle the flame they'd both fought to bury?
