   Summary

   Heaven is for chumps, even if it’s a bar. Joaquina Hawke, with her well-honed skillset of magic, one-liner comedy, and abandonment trauma, embarks on her most important mission yet: to resurrect her decades-long best friend, Varric Tethras, from his untimely demise.

   Along the way, she pisses off her brother, some dwarves, the Titans, Fade spirits, and occasionally Varric himself. Hawke and Varric fall terribly in love, or probably they already were. It’s a disaster, but their favorite city is Kirkwall, and there’s nothing better than someone who loves you for who you are.
