Summary
Loki was called a prodigy before he was old enough to understand what the word meant. He has been playing violin since he was three — not because he wanted to, but because there was no other choice. Perfection was the only acceptable outcome. He has spent his entire childhood chasing it.
Then, one winter afternoon, a stranger moves into his house and becomes his brother overnight. Thor is eighteen, golden-haired, grieving, and completely hopeless at the violin.
One week later, Thor is better than Loki has ever been.
What follows is not a simple story about talent. It’s about two people carrying wounds they don’t have names for yet, a promise made in a letter that was never meant to be a lifeline, and the long, slow work of learning to stand on the same stage. -
