Summary
The morning comes after a pleasant dream. Jack expects it to be the same as every morning after their anniversary. To wake up alone, the sweetness of a memory lingering in the haze of his mind. This year was suppose to be the same, yet the pressure in his side is too real, too solid, too familiar. He wants to surrender to it all, succumb to the sense of normality that had become so foreign to him.
So he does.
