First off, Discord in general is just a horrible app. People break the law constantly on there and get away with it, not to mention the fact it effects people's mental healths badly. All of this, and more, is why it's bad there for fandoms. Imagine you find a place to discuss your favorite fandoms, a nice, peaceful, quiet place. One where there happens to be no trouble, is just you and a few others, and where negativity is not tollerated. Discord is most certantly not that fucking place. Smaller fandom servers tend to be inactive, while bigger ones tend to pose and cause trouble. Some servers are fine, and that's great, but 95% of servers on there are horrible and toxic. I suggest you stay away, and find a better place to interact with a fandom. Because Discord, my friends, is far from it. Even ai is used for moderation on there now so many accounts are being falsely flagged and banned for shit they didn't do, which is also harmful. Best to find somewhere else to be because Discord is fucking disgusting. Yikes.
