Summary
Self hatred is not something Steven was quite used to; sure, the anxiety and guilt had eaten him alive these last few years, but hatred? That was new. He always preached love; for yourself, for your community, for the planet- he was a symbol of love. Of acceptance; of yourself and others, and forgiveness; for your own actions and the actions of others... How could he promote these things, how could he remain a symbol of love an acceptance and forgiveness, if he couldn't even love and accept and forgive himself?
