Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon has nothing to do. Yes, he literally has nothing to do. So what does he do?
Relax. For once. And so is the rest of team ninja. They are all in the living room of the monastery, doing nothing. There is completely nothing to do but relax.
And Nya’s way of relaxing is watching an interview of her favourite artist [Name] [Last Name], otherwise known as Star.
[Name] [Last Name] is a pop star. Entering the music world at the age of eighteen and by nineteen, she took over the world. Her fashion style and other aesthetic is either sporty or tight fitted clothing or leopard print. She is always seen in heels or trainers and her make up is absolute perfection.
Effortlessly beautiful is a phrase that news outlets describe her as. [Name] however prefers the word sexy. She is known to be flirty and very confident in her sexuality.
"Welcome back to our channel, Star!" Lloyd turns his attention to the television, looking up from his phone. Not that he would have done much on it. He is really on social media and mostly has games on his phone. "We’ve missed you!"
"It’s so good to be here!" [Name] smiles, Lloyd watching her through the screen. She’s so beautiful. "It’s been so long! What’s going on with you guys?"
"Not much. Life is pretty good. I can’t complain," The youtuber smiles, [Name] rubbing the side of her lip. This is a flirting technique to make the other person focus on her lips. It is also very good for when she sees edits of herself on social media. She needs them. "What’s going on with you? I heard your next album is coming out soon,"
"It is!" [Name] beams, fiddling with her necklace. Silver with her initials on it. "I am so excited for everyone to hear it. I could say that it’s pretty epic?"
"Did you just name drop?"
"Who knows!" [Name] laughs, pushing her [curls/braids/hair] back away from her face. "I will definitely confirm that one of the songs are called it’s okay, i’m okay,"
"Oh?" The youtuber crosses their arms, sitting back in their chair. "Do you want to explain this song for your fans?"
"I am so excited for her album," Lloyd turns his gaze over to Nya, her legs over Jay’s. "She hasn’t dropped music in a year and this is her second album,"
"Is her music really that good?" Kai questions, resting his arms on the sofa, behind and next to Nya. "I know Sky listens to her but I didn’t think her music was that good,"
"I think she actually has some pretty good songs," Cole mutters, sitting down on one of the chairs in the sitting room. He has cake on his lap. Which is expected. How does he eat so much and he is the strongest Ninja?
"There’s also something else about her which is really funny," Jay snickers, his auburn curls bouncing as he moves his head slightly. His finger taps Nya’s legs, the medley one of [Name]’s songs.
"What?" Lloyd asks, Zane sitting down on the chair next to him. He holds a book in his hands, opening the first page as he listens to his family talk. They might be doing the same thing, but that will not stop them from sitting together.
"She has a massive crush on you,"
"Huh?"

[Name] [Last Name] has a crush on Lloyd. No, not Lloyd. Even though Lloyd is very cute. She has a massive crush on the Legendary Green Ninja.
Lloyd is going down a massive rabbit hole. He downloaded tiktok, instagram, twitter and snapchat. Just to see what she was saying about him. Him being the Green Nninja. But that is still him! Does the mask give him slightly more confidence? Yes. Is that expected given Lloyd’s nature? Also, yes.
Being bullied through high school and primary school would make you want to hide away and act like a completely different person. And for him, that different person is the Green Ninja. Kind of like Adrien Agreste from Miraculous. Expect the fact that Adrien gets freedom from Chat Noir. Lloyd gains responsibility from being the Green Ninja.
The elemental master of life lies on his bed, watching another interview of [Name]. He follows her on his instagram, tiktok and practically all social media now.
He has watched a lot of her edits. A lot of them. Most of those edit songs were ALIEN SUPERSTAR by Beyonce, All My Love by Amaarae, Alter Ego by Doechii and Precious. Songs that suit her.
He has also seen some ship edits with the Green Ninja and her in. Most of the songs in the edit are Coming down by the Weeknd, Bang Bang by K’NAAN and Adam Levine. There was also Bleed by Malcom Todd and Earrings too.
"You’re not the only Green Ninja fan!" The interviewer laughs, [Name] rolling her eyes. In this interview, her hair is styled differently. And Lloyd can tell that her make up is a much different style than it was. Yes, he is watching another interview. He genuinely just cannot help it.
"You might be right," [Name] starts, pulling the zip of her hoodie down. Which reveals a green top with the word life over her chest. "But I am the biggest! Wait! Let me go get my bag," Lloyd watches as she reaches for her very expensive handbag in the video, pulling out a plushie?! A plushie of the Green Ninja?! Did they even make those back then? This video is a year old!
The interviewer bursts out laughing, [Name] holding the plushie next to her face. It looks just like his old gi.
"There is no way she made that…" He mumbles, touching his lip. It’s dedication. If anything.
"Dude, did you make that?!"
"I did!" [Name] giggles, showing the plushie to the camera. Her nails are long, sharp and leopard print. "I got the fabric and the stuffing and everything. I think it took me a week? I cannot remember. But I made him and take him everywhere with me!"
"How did this even start?"
"Me making him? Oh, it’s not really that-"
"No," The interviewer says, cutting her off. "Sorry, I mean the crush you have for the Green Ninja. How did that even start?"
This is something that interests Lloyd. Not that the interview was not interesting. Because it was. [Name] is a performer. And she is very good at it.
"Oh!" [Name] places the plushie on the table in front of her, taking off her hoodie. "This was maybe, when I was sixteen? When I lived in Ninjago," She lived in Ninjago? "I think there was a massive earthquake and these bad guys came and they were just causing havoc and unnecessary problems," Lloyd furrows his eyebrows. He remembers that. He was sixteen too. "And I was running, I got pushed to the ground and I saw one of the bad guys coming towards me. The Green Ninja got their just in time, beat that guy’s ass black and blue and got me to safety,"
Lloyd looks to the left, trying to recall the memories.
"But I don't think the Green Ninja remembers that," [Name] shrugs. "I looked very different back then and I was not confident in myself at all,"
Lloyd gasps, finding the memory. He remembers. He remembers her. But her eyes. Those siren looking eyes, they look exactly the same.
