   Summary

   It was always going to be a long shot, but Rey had dreamed of being a goalie in the NHL since the first time he blocked the puck. He just never thought that he'd get the call asking him to be the emergency backup goalie after the Tatooine Flames' starter came down sick.

   He expected to sit on the bench the whole time, soaking in the moment, but after a hard collision in the second period, the other Flames' goalie was suddenly out for the rest of the night, and Rey was left staring down the current darling of the league, Ben Solo, and the explosive Mon Cala Sharks offense.
