"I miss being Hawks," he began slowly. The words were halted and hesitant, like he was trying to figure out how to word his thoughts. "And I miss being a hero. Number 2, though… I never really cared about what rank I was. I could have been Number 1 or Number 500 for all I cared. I liked the helping people, the doing good… not so much the popularity contest aspect. Being a hero wasn't about being ranked. It was about saving people."
Touya opened his mouth to say something. Then thought better of it. Then opened his mouth again.
