Noah is trying to fulfill his promise to his late father. Winning a season of F1.
Mirage is stranded on earth waiting to be rescued but is stuck in hiding, he disguises himself as a back up car but accidentally fucks up by messing up the car that belongs to Noah.
A deal was made and eventually Noah finds himself in a situation where he has to choose, stay in the past or move towards the future.

After all, he had always managed to ignore his feelings for Alain in favour of focusing on racing. He had done it when he was barely an adult, trying to chase a dream bigger than himself, and when he won his three championships. He would just have to do the same this year.
Ayrton tries to survive the 1994 season amidst a new car, new regulations and his body trying to kill him because Alain Prost is no longer racing in Formula One. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
