This has been done before in some variation many times I feel but I am helpless for the training accident trope cause damn so much angst can come from it. So here is my version. I hope you all like it!
This is based off of a roleplay I did with a friend so I know there are lots of ships and head-cannons kinda mixed together in this one. So if ya don’t like don’t read everything is in the tags. I am very open to constructive feedback though as I have tried my best to be true to the characters.

"Tell me you’re not in that tunnel," Sieun breathed out, hollow.
OR: Sieun comes home to 87 missed calls from Suho. When he finally answers, Suho sounds like nothing is wrong—teasing and almost casual enough to be convincing. Sieun only slowly realizes that Suho isn’t on his way home, but trapped under a collapsed tunnel with a dying phone and something he has been circling around for years but never managed to say out loud.

He continued trying to dig his way with his good hand, but the way the rocks had fallen, if he removed one, another took its place. It was like he was inside an hourglass.
But he wouldn’t give up.
There. Was he hearing things? A scraping sound.
His adrenaline spiked. He pawed at the rocks again, because noise meant movement and movement meant—
“Buck?”
“Eddie?” Buck rasped.
He was alive! Eddie was alive.

Dick leaned on the washing machine, talking to his neighbor. He knew he could afford an apartment where he didn’t share a machine with 30 people, but he enjoyed the chance to talk to his neighbors. Normally, he would be more active in the conversation, but his nighttime job had left him more drained than usual.
