“That means I actually did almost cause an apocalypse.”
“To be fair it was only the one time, and the Earth got better,” said Computer.
“Still! They– listen to me.” Astrodude cried thinking back, “Wha–What have I been saying to them?”
“Well you cracked a few jokes, you told them some fun facts, and traumatized only a few of them.”
“I did what?”
“Unintentionally.”
“How does no one notice this and-and why didn’t you say anything!?”
“I actually am designed to go along with your nonsense to an extent.” The computer after a moment chirped, “Try to look on the bright side, maybe there’s a lesson to be learned from all this.”
Astrodude weakly moved to sit in his chair asking, “What’s that?”
“Maybe the real space madness was the friends we made along the way.”
“...For the last time, who programmed you?”
“ROTSAR.”
“Of course they did.” He pinched his nose feeling a headache oncoming.
“So what’s your view on the planets now that they aren’t just figments representing your emotions, what do you think of them?”
“They all need therapy…and so do I,” he frowned adding on, “…Set course for the asteroid belt, and call in mission control, preferably my boss, I’m gonna demand for that raise now.”
“Wasn’t he out of funds for the year?”
“Doesn’t matter!” he snapped, “Next year then! Oh gosh, I’m gonna be stuck up here for a while aren’t I?”
“Well at least you know the locals now.”
“Yippee,” Astrodude deadpanned.
Astrodude met another local soon afterwards in the asteroid belt; turns out, maybe he should’ve taken some time getting to know the moons better. He hoped nothing bad would come of this.

and he finally decides to ACTUALLY approach his moon, psst! PSST! Hey!Basically rewriting a couple solarballs scenes but, with ships, (Tuna, Marth, Jupitern, minor one sided saturanus etc) and in the POV of one of the characters involved with or observing the scene!

Astrodude’s eyes shoot wide open. He jumped up, using his arms to sit up as quickly as possible. Astrodude had woken up basically hyperventilating. He put his hands on his mouth as he also moved his knees up to his chest. He tried to steady his breathing.
He took his hands off his mouth and looked at them for a second. Until he eventually he put them back on his face but covering the entire thing this time. He started slowly dragging them down his face. When they reached the end of his face Astrodude laid back down on his bed. God…that robot really messed him up…
He turned his head to see how long it was until he was actually supposed to wake up. About an hour…well…it’s good to do stuff early isn’t it? Astrodude told himself as he got up from his bed. He quickly got ready, put on his normal clothes and brushed his teeth and hair.
He walked out of his little room. Computer was already up and running, it seemed like she was scanning what was happening outside or something. He didn’t really care right now.
As Astrodude was walking in, the computer realized that he was awake.
“Oh. Hey Astrodude, you’re out here early.” The computer said as she turned around to face Astrodude.
“Yeah…just woke up and couldn’t fall back asleep so just decided to get ready early.” He answered. He hoped he didn’t sound too suspicious. He had been “getting ready early” a lot now.
“Alright, go get breakfast then we can get to work.”
Right.
Breakfast.
Astrodude felt his stomach sink. Food? Now?
No.
He couldn’t eat right now.
He would die.
He would get poison again.
He would get drugged again.
He would go through that again.
No.
Not again.

Astrodude runs into the door, falling to the ground with a cry, still clutching his phone. "Why won't you pick up?!" he begs, close to tears.
Cosmo stops behind him, planting a hand on his shoulder and yanking him up with muscles far stronger than anything Astrodude could ever hope to have. "Because my base cuts off communication when I want it to, and I wished it to cut off communication."
"Listen, Cosmo! We can talk this out, right? You don't have to do anything crazy!" Astrodude says nervously, trying to pull away.
Cosmo slams him against the wall. "No. I gave you a choice, did I not? Now you have made me angry. I will take what I want."
"You can- you can have SiBO! Just let me go!" Astrodude cries out, pushing at him fruitlessly.
Cosmo pretends to think about it. "Hmmm... no. I will take the little alien. And your ship. And I will leave you here."
"Take it then! I won't try to stop you!" Astrodude says.
Cosmo takes a look at the man in front of him. A good look at this teary-eyed, man thinned out from the lack of gravity he can't avoid, trying so hard to push Cosmo off of him.

“Well…” the voice on his phone started, “we do have a drill that can withstand the temperatures of the Earth's core. So maybe we can use that.”
“Oookay. Then let’s throw that thing as deep as possible, and…”
“Uh-bep-bep.” Houston quickly interrupted, “Hold on right there. The drill is up there in space. It needs your guidance to drill down into the Earth's core.”
He does not like that tone. He feels he shouldn't entertain him, but he was so desperate to fix this mess.
“Wait, you’re not saying…?”
“Ready for a journey to the planet’s core, Astrodude?” Then, the call ended.
This is not how he imagined going back to Earth would be.

"Well,” he looked up as if trying to remember something, “the last time he was deep asleep was 66 million years ago. It was when he had dinosaurs.” He paused, guilt flashing in his eyes for a second. “He fell asleep, and we tried waking him up, but to no avail. Then, an asteroid hit him while he was sleeping. It was only then he woke up."
He could now see the guilt in his eyes. He can tell he felt bad about not getting to protect his planet from something that could kill him. But still, they need to wake the Earth up. If the Moon is suggesting that the only way they could wake the Earth up is by bombing him with asteroids, then maybe…
