Enid always thought, she was just a regular girl living a regular life as a high school student. And all of that was true - until her brother Matty goes missing one night. After the Crackstone fiasco, the relationship between Wednesday and Enid changes drastically. Feelings arise and demand drastic measures.

Enid is taken to the mansion and disaster eventually catches up with the loving couple.“What are you thinking about?” Thing signaled, perched in the passenger seat next to Lurch. “Your frown looks scarier than usual.”
Anyone who didn’t know Wednesday so well would imagine he hadn’t even noticed the Morse code message typed by hand, especially given how long it took him to look away from the scenery rushing past the window, and even longer to let a single defeated word escape his lips.
“Enid,” she replied, as if that name said everything she needed to convey.

“You’re…warm,” Wednesday commented.
At that, Enid felt her face flush, tilting her head even further, like maybe she could make out how many tiny stems were on each tree if she tried hard enough.

“Hm?” Enid tore her eyes from the trees, landing directly on Wednesday as if there were no other destination for her eyes.
