This story didn't come to an end already so i don't really have a sumary, i mean this story is made by the mantra "carpe diem" so i do it base on my feeling. I just warn you that it contents sensitive topics even though there is romance. (mainly gay bcz its a kawoshin story but with straight couples too) So i let you discover this story and hope you'll have a great moment reading it. Thank you for your time.

Nobody at NERV could deny that the newest pilot had some weird quirks and tendencies to him. Misato called him “strange and off-putting,” but only to Kaji and Ritsuko when she thought Shinji couldn’t hear. Toji and Kensuke considered him a friend, but they often came to Shinji with the strangest stories about the boy.
“He’s never played video games before, man!” Kensuke sighed one afternoon.
“He told me he ain't ever eaten a sandwich before. A sandwich. An’ I thought he was kiddin’ but nope. He was fascinated.” Toji was bewildered.
“I watched him eat an orange with the peel still on it the other day. Bit right through it like an apple. I asked him why and he said he had always done it like that, and actually liked the peel.” Kensuke again.
“My cell phone rang an’ he damn near passed out from excitement. From m’ ringtone.” Toji. “He was baffled that I had somethin’ in m’ pocket that could make music.”
Shinji Ikari… wasn’t sure how he felt about the boy.

This piece is heavily inspired by a Japanese song called 'Yoru ni kakeru' by YOASOBI, which is based on a Japanese short story called 'an Invitation from Thanatos,' that being a story about a man falling in love with a woman who longs for death and suicide.
