Summary

It takes time to adjust to life in a small town - farming, gossip, magic, mining, fishing, festivals and the many different relationships that exist between the inhabitants of Pelican Town all test James' abilities as he tries to come to terms with his new role as the farmer of the valley... And why does the local wizard seem to have a particular interest in him?
Based around a playthrough of one game year and leaning heavily on game mechanics and heart events, this story explores small town life, the importance of friendship, the impact a single person can have on a limited social environment, magic, romance, education, music, and just how much a dog can improve their person’s life.

Living on a farm is a nightmare. For Serin, a life of extravagance is everything. As long as she's getting her allowance with a fancy roof above her head, she will kneel before her father's wishes. Stardew Valley was her final straw before she decided to finally resent her parents. She thought working in Joja was enough to prove to her parents that she was deserving of a position in one of the biggest real estate companies in Ferngill Republic, but there was more to it than just being sent to a rural town: her father's motives.
Thankfully, Pelican Town was warm and welcoming, or maybe because no one knew she was half-Gotoran. They would probably tear her to pieces, especially when she associated herself with a soldier's son, Sam. Sam had his own baggage, but his best friend Sebastian seems to have more behind his nonchalance.
Serin wanted to be chosen even just for once. However, Sam had a responsibility he needed to take. His kind heart probably ruined their relationship, but Serin wanted to stay until she was drained out. In her wait, she ends up in a sinful knot with Sebastian... until she found herself making a choice against the consequences.

Pomni rolled on the bed to the other side. She was anxiously staring at the wall of her room. The dark shades of red devoids of artificial light looked like any other morning. It had been almost a month since anyone had gone on any adventures, and it was starting to become very worrisome, to say the least. Every day without adventures began to look the same. Open your eyes, get out of bed, be greeted by an increasingly unenthusiastic Ragatha, walk to the dining room, stare at the food, listen to less and less frequent conversations of the other cast members and return to your room to not (at all) think about the impending cataclysm. Caine appears sporadically, calling them with increasingly strange scrolls to greet them, only to disappear together after a while with Bubble for the rest of the day.
What is happening with Caine? Is Circus in danger? What is corn having to do with anything? Is Pomni will be sane after that mess?
