Summary
Elphaba had no idea she was the daughter of the Wizard until the night of her debut. While she struggles to adjust to the life of a princess--which would be hard enough for someone normal, but is even worse for a social outcast with green skin--she manages to get under the skin of a prissy fellow debutante who declares it her personal mission to make Elphaba a model noblewoman.
