Summary
Even if Zhalia knew being multilingual was pretty much a prerequisite for becoming a Seeker, there were times she envied people with only one language to worry about.
Being able to interrogate locals during missions had its perks, but forgetting the most basic of words in one language and only knowing them in another could get a little annoying. The amount of times she’d had to describe an item to Dante because she knew its name in all languages except the one they were speaking was almost embarrassing.
In her opinion however, the words that had an entirely different meaning depending on what language they were spoken in were the worst of all. Explaining to Dante how much he meant to her was difficult enough on its own even without the language barrier – or more like lack thereof – but being unable to come up with meaningful words when she had so many to choose from was especially frustrating.
Even if being affectionate didn’t come quite as naturally to her as it did to him, he deserved to know. And even if he knew already, he deserved to be told.

Summary
This series deals with my imaginings of what could happen with the whole Lila drama. I took the title The Great Pretender from the oldies song "The Great Pretender" by the Platters. Now, I did not sit down and re-listen to the whole song, but what stuck out to me was the message that the great pretender was lonely and pretending to do well when things were not okay. I feel like this could apply to Marinette and to Lila. Marinette is obvious because she is pretending to not be hurt by Lila's actions. However, we're starting to see that the obvious pretender, Lila, is dealing with loneliness at home. While this in no way justifies her actions, it allows us to see how her behavior developed.
