Summary
Chifuyu hadn't planned this. He hadn't wanted to kill his childhood friend; he felt compelled to. He also hadn't wanted to look for Takemichi to hide the body; he had thus dragged him into this dirty business.
He couldn't blame him for what had happened, but he had no room to remain calm. He wasn't caught early; it took months to find the body, but it was eventually found by detectives.
Now he had thoroughly messed up both his friend's life and his own.

Kazutora was still tight in embrace with Baji, but looking at him, his single earring sounding loud with how hard his neck snapped over. His mouth was partially opened in confusion.
“Are you guys proposing a threesome or something?”
“What?” Baji finally let him go, looking confused. “I mean, eventually, I guess. More like we both think you’re hot and definitely we’re way better than your ex boyfriend if you wanna just be with us instead.”
“Like date you two?”
“Yeah! I even bought us Peyoung to share to make it official. So what do you say?”

It's true that Chifuyu wouldn't use his blade and he rather does this for show, trying to bring the young Hanemiya to his senses, but he can just use the hilt of his sword as efficiently as the blade and knock him out with ease. He'd rather prefer not to, however.
“The honorable lord said to bring you back by all means necessary, but I'd prefer to do this without force. If you dare me, however.” Chifuyu slightly lifts his blade and Hanemiya follows the movement.“I might need to make use of my sword.”

Chifuyu suppresses a sigh, but determination carries his voice when he grants, “Fine. Under one condition.”
It brings Kazutora’s attention back to him, who first throws him a confused gaze before he shifts to suspicion. “What do you want.”
“You’ll have a second Christmas dinner with me,” Chifuyu insists and lands on a softer expression when he explains, “We have plenty of leftovers and I’m sure my mom doesn’t mind.”

The relaxed body resting on his lap tenses a little. “Don’t know. What should I think about it?”
Kazutora sounds rather distant and doesn’t really look at him, which brings a forced smile to Chifuyu’s lips.“Do you want to go…?” he tries again, although the feeling in his guts already tells him that he won’t like the answer.
“Not really, why?” Briefly, Kazutora’s eyes dart up to him and although he tries for a laid-back expression, he seems guarded. “Do you?”
“Actually, yes.” Chifuyu gives him a warm smile. “I’d love to go to prom. With you, the be precise.”
