Chifuyu did not share his enthusiasm, as he greeted him with a far from cheerful question:
" Where the hell is everyone? "

Ryusei knew that Chifuyu's naivety had to have limits, but it was always worth a try.
" If I say that everyone suddenly got sick, would you believe me? " He asked hopefully.

Satou Ryusei was not a romantic. He wasn't even interested in relationships. He much preferred to watch a football game or cause a stir wherever he went. He found love at first sight ridiculous.
However, when he met Matsuno Chifuyu, he was able to believe in love at first punch.
People says love hurts and his face hurt so damn much when Chifuyu hit him, so it had to be true.

Ryusei accidentally speedruns his entire friendship route with Chifuyu after the Killer Bee incident. He’s only checking up on Chifuyu everyday because he’s bored - there’s no one else to play rooftop soccer with!! - and because he’s just fulfilling his duties as Vice Captain. There’s no ulterior motive, really.
