Summary
It has been nearly a century since Queen Clarion decided to keep the Winter and other Seasonal fairies separate. Until one day a winter fairy is born in Summer. After her birth, everything is thrown into question. Fairies continue to be born in the wrong seasons more frequently. Yet, the winter fairies born into the other seasons somehow seem to have more durable wings than those who are born in Winter.
Through time and much debate a new role is decided on, and one day Queen Clarion approaches Lord Milori and Snowflake at the border, offering up a position for Snowflake as the new and illustrious Minister of Winter. Her job is to employ the winter fairies as attendants for more birthing rituals, allow for more warm fairy to use their talents towards winter politics, and serve her role as ambassador to relay messages and rules from Queen Clarion to Milori and the Winter Lands. But is her new position as minister of winter the answer to the fairies' wishes in winter to be closer to their warm fairy counterparts? Or is the rift between the two too deep to do anything about?
What will the role of Minister mean or entail? Is the role a shot towards a new tomorrow or simply a bleak future in disguise? -

Summary
Everything was fixed for the time being. Beach City was cleaned up again, despite the effects of Spinel's Injector. The Diamonds were happy with their new best friend, the Gem Colonies were beginning to live in harmony with their own planets by following in Little Homeworld's footsteps, and plans were even being made to begin terraforming the other planets in the solar system for Gem and even human habitation. The future looked bright. All the effects of the Gem War had been addressed and were improving.
And then, of course, Steven finds himself right back in the thick of it. Waking up without explanation as a normal Rose Quartz soldier six thousand years in the past, Steven finds himself needing to stop the Gem War all over again. Hopefully, before it even begins.

Snowflake is getting married tomorrow.
Fox lets herself into the room, angrily slamming the door behind her. Her blue eyes take Snowflake in, and her gaze softens. "I'm so sorry, Snowflake."
Snowflake rests her tail over Fox's. She leans onto the taller dragon, her head slotting perfectly below Fox's head.
Tomorrow, their little world ends.
Tomorrow, Snowflake has to marry Prince Arctic, and become a member of the royal family, destined to bear his dragonets, bear the heirs to the IceWing throne.
She gets one last moment with the dragon who owns her heart before that happens.

“From now on, all animus magic spells, voiced or silent, cast by animus dragons present and future, shall be subject to the following conditions.
One. A deeply annoying voice that develops a deeply annoying personality with a disproportionately large ego who names itself Animi shall reside within each animus dragon’s mind, and cannot be removed.
Two. Upon every spell that is attempted to be cast by animus dragons, Animi will stall at least three, and at most ten times.
Three. Upon granting the spell, if still pushed through by the animus, Animi will fulfill it in the most irritating, inconvenient, pedantic, emotionally humiliating or insanity-inducing way possible, while still technically obeying the caster’s words in the loosest interpretation that can still be defended in a theoretical debate. Animi will decide for itself what is the best option.”
