    Was what Kaname Madoka wished for in the last, disastrous timeline. With the god-like power at her disposal, this wish echoes across timelines and permeates throughout the world. When Homura wakes up in the hospital again, the new world couldn't be more different: She has overpowered new abilities, new family members(featuring, um, Clara dolls? WTF?), social media fame, Soulmate marks(wait...FIVE of them???), a nice Homulilly(kinda), new dimensions, and more.

    But...were these cat ears and tail really necessary, Madoka?
    (Whatever. If it made Madoka happy, then it made Homura happy.)

    Essentially, Homura is getting what she DESERVES. My girl has gone through too much suffering, and she'll finally get some fluff and comfort and flyswatting(well...after a tad bit more angst, perhaps. :) ).

      To the stars is like, cut from the exact same cloth as A Thing of Vikings it's kinda insane. Like the format is exactly the same with the little epitaphs of in universe books, and like the general structure of the narrative, etc etc.

      And I like A Thing of Vikings so I like this fic as well. But the problem is that I'm really not built to read slow burn, if I run out of stream while I'm binge reading it, there's no way I'm ever getting it back. I managed to get through A Thing of Vikings because it's pacing was very even? Like each section was of a consistent length which each has its climax to look forward to.

      To the Stars instead has its dip feed of a wide variety of different mysteries there to keep you hooked and thinking during the slow parts. Which I really liked during the first few dozen chapters but um... I've run out of stream at ch 54. Which is disappointing because the stars aligned for me to love this fic, like I just like Madoka Magica more than HTTYD I'm biased for the Yuri and the magical girls okay? Even if I like nation-building and politics.

      But still if you like slow burn this fic is for you, still 100% a big thumbs up from me

Homura, meanwhile, stared in confusion as all seven of the other magical girls screamed at the same time.

    This entire situation left Homura with only one question.
