What if Jay wasn't adopted by Ed and Edna?
What if Garmadon was the Ninja's Sensei?
But more importantly…
What if the Overlord wasn't brought back, and things ended differently?
Inspired by the Judgemental Critter's RWBY Reversed Fates AU, I made this AU to see what would our Ninja be like if their fates were reversed.

It has been a long time since the Overlord was defeated, and freeing Lord Wu from the evil influences of the Great Devourer. However, that doesn't mean that evil will sleep. As an unknown virus known as 'Revodrol', based off of the Overlord has struck New Ninjago City and wants Morro's power of being the Platinum Ninja. Leading to the Ninjas, now allied with the redeemed Master of Creation, must find a way to defeat Revodrol.

Summary
Unsatisfied with his immortality but not so much that he's actually be willing to die, Wukong decides to go into deep astral meditation to be reborn as a new, better version of himself. Upon awakening he decides to stay in his stone statue form and observe the modern world through his gold vision. He's pretty content with being praised all day by strangers until a particular child begins to show up so regularly he cannot call him a stranger anymore. Maybe a friend.
OR the self indulgant fic inspired by a Hanfu created to keep the statue of an immortal god warm that I found in the V&A and semi-spearheaded by Kyri drawing some art based on it -

TAKES PLACE AFTER DRAGONS RISING SEASON 3 PART 1
I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS OR THINGS MENTIONED IN THIS FICJay's trust is forever broken. For as long as he can remember, he's been lied to and played with. Well, not anymore. So it surprises even him when he accepts the ninja's offer to stay at their monastery. Things get worse when Jay starts remembering his actual past, and it has to do with pirates? Not to mention the stupid, magnetic tug he feels every time he's around the water ninja...
Nya would rather die than go through what she went through after the merge again. She promised herself years ago that the first person she would tell would be Jay, her yang. But this Jay is so much more different than the Jay who loved and adored her. Nya doesn't think she could tell him anything. But she doesn't know how long she can go on like this, without telling anyone. She didn't know how long she could hold on.
In other words, Jay's only memories are of the nefarious Nadakhan, and Nya's been through.. a lot after the merge. They don't have anywhere to go to. Except each other...
