I had considered screaming but decided otherwise. I didn’t exactly want my roommate calling for the RA. I also thought about uncapping Riptide, but the boy looked mortal, so that was off the table. After what felt like an eternity I whispered,” Who are you, and why are you sitting on my legs?”

Summary
"Whoaaaa" Grace couldn't help but rush out, like a little kid seeing the museum for the first time. Endless fascination for everything he didn't understand as it was demonstrated right before his eyes.
Also like a little kid, Grace got antsy after the first few seconds.
"How long is this supposed to take?" Grace ignored how whiney he sounded as he asked. It didn't stop him from tacking on a childish; "Ugh!"
"Collector should be here soon," Rocky responded at the same time the impact of the collector's collision with the winch forced another sound out of Grace.
"Got it, its here!" Grace cheered, and he moved towards the winch now that the xenonite chain was no longer moving at approximately three times the speed of sound.
"Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!"
Something else hit the ship.

He’s juggling an all-consuming patrol schedule in Park Row, meddling siblings, and a past he still hasn’t figured out how to outrun.
Then, he meets a street kid he just can't seem to figure out. The more Jason digs, the more he realizes this isn’t just some normal runaway with a streak of bad luck.
This is Gotham. And nothing is ever that simple.
